PROGRAM

 

Curriculum - I incorporate my creative virtue curriculum into our daily program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. A virtue is a firm attitude to do what is right. Virtues such as kind, brave, responsible, share, respect and courage are used to help children grow in love. I don't just manage a child's behavior, but help them push through their struggles and celebrate their accomplishments.

Infants and Young Toddlers age 6 months to 24 months:

We stimulate infants and young toddlers through music, exercise, singing, talking, holding and playing with them. A safe space equipped with age approbate toys and material is provided for young children to explore. The area consists of a soft rug, safety mirrors, great books, and baskets filled with soft toys. Space for infants who are under the age of 24 months are limited and fill up quickly. Infants with siblings are given a priority for entrance into our program if both are enrolling together or the older sibling is already enrolled. 

 

Older Toddlers and Preschoolers age 24 months to 4 years old: 

Children are separated during certain times of the day so that we can offer developmentally age appropriate activities to each group. We talk to them, ask them questions, and answer questions that they may have to help them build their vocabulary, express their ideas and share their feelings.  

 

Our school year goes from mid September to mid June. Our summer program goes from mid June through Labor Day.
